Sally Morgan is an experienced organic and no-dig gardener. With a background in botany and ecology, she has always gardened naturally and is passionate about creating a growing space that it not just healthy and productive, but attractive to as wide a variety of plants and animals as possible.

She has travelled widely, both in the UK and further afield, seeking out ideas and inspiration that can be incorporated into her own walled garden. Over the last 20 years Sally has been looking at how to  make her garden more resilient in face of the changes that climate change may bring. For example, how it can cope with extreme weather events, such as long periods of drought and severe storms that bring torrential rain. She has incorporated several water harvesting systems into her garden, and more recently, she has created some experimental beds in which plants grow in crushed concrete and other building wastes.

Her books include The Resilient Garden and Allotment (Chelsea Green 2024), Living On One Acre Or Less (Green Books, 2016) and The Climate Change Garden with Kim Stoddart (new edition Quarto, 2023).
